these are our three children, and they are the lights of our lives.

the one of my oldest son, is a year old, he has changed alot.
They look so happy and FREE!
I love the ringlets- all my children had them- until they reached 5 or so and they just dropped out, your daughters' look as though they're here to stay.What a good looking bunch ! strange how they always take after their mothers, is'nt it???!!!

well, i finally got home, after a round trip of about 1600 miles, visiting 28 ex-jw's and their families, from around britain.
the highlight of the trip was definitely englishman's bbq .
the spider-filled digeridoo, was a real bonus, as was the sing-alonga-eman (shame that not everyone knew "wild rover" .

is there anyone from the area who remmbers the story of the 30,000 spent on trees for the vist of a gb memmber.. i dont know the exact story as it is now about 7 or 8 years ago but i heard it from several people that worked on the hall.. apparently a gb memmber was to come to britian to dedicate the hall (i cant remmember which one).. the brothers in charge wanted the hall to look nice for his vist.but the land around was yet to be landscaped.. so brothers enquired as to the viability of planting some trees but were informed that it was the wrong time of year and they would die.. the cost of the trees was around the region of 30,000.plus the amount of free labour from the brothers in planting them.. anyway the big bosses of the scheme decided to ignore the professional advice and planted them anyway.. they all died.. 30.000 pounds of money from old ladies, pioneers and little children as well as ordinary publishers went down the drain for the gb's visit.. nice to know they used our money wisely.

Bill; I think this is dreadful; not only because it must surely be a sad day for you both; but because you had ears in the Society when you were part of it.Now the little ones who may have felt they could look to you for advice and support , may not feel comfortable as you are disfellowshiped and that word seems to frighten so many.
Unfortunately, those who do not know how sincere you are ,will be able to label you as 'an Apostate' with,as usual, no thought or regard as to WHY you felt it necessary to speak out.
We will all help to keep this issue alive and the truth will out, Bill;and when it does they will be ashamed. I only hope that your actions may cause them to question themselves.

just a post to thank mike and christina for a such a brilliant day;the food, the welcome and the constant hospitality was so kind, i had a great time meeting you all,even though i'd been so nervous.
so many people made such a huge effort to be there,and you were all lovely.
it really made my day to have you all around me; i feel so protective of you all now!
